Accessibility statement

Our commitment to making Jersey's live-music platform welcoming and usable for everyone.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

At Gigz Hub, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone, including people with disabilities. We want to make finding and booking live musicians in Jersey a seamless experience for all users.

We are continually improving the experience and applying relevant digital accessibility standards and Jersey's disability-discrimination requirements.

Jersey legal framework

Gigz Hub is operated in Jersey by Heritage Planning Specialists Ltd. We recognise our duties as a service provider under the Discrimination (Jersey) Law 2013, as amended by the Discrimination (Disability) (Jersey) Regulations 2018.

The Law protects disabled people when accessing goods, facilities and services and treats a failure to make reasonable adjustments as a form of indirect discrimination. We will consider and make reasonable adjustments where reasonable to prevent a disabled person being placed at a substantial disadvantage when using Gigz Hub.

If any part of the website is difficult to use, please contact us. We will work with you to provide the information or service in an accessible alternative format and to address the barrier where reasonably possible.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

Gigz Hub is actively working toward full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This means we have not yet claimed or independently certified full conformance. We continue to audit and test the website as it develops.

Accessibility measures

As the website is currently in a preview phase, we are actively auditing its code, content and design to improve support for:

  • Screen readers: providing meaningful page structure, labels, status announcements and alternative text for musician images and media.
  • Keyboard navigation: ensuring menus, filters, forms and booking controls can be used without a mouse.
  • Clear layouts: maintaining readable text, strong colour contrast and visible keyboard focus.
  • Reduced motion: respecting device settings that request less animation.
  • Media alternatives: providing captions, transcripts or written summaries where appropriate.

Feedback and assistance

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Gigz Hub. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need assistance finding or booking an artist, please contact us:

  • Email: enquiries@gigzhub.je
  • Response time: we aim to respond to accessibility enquiries within 3 business days.

Please tell us which page or feature caused difficulty, what happened and, if you are comfortable sharing it, the browser or assistive technology you were using. This helps us investigate and improve the service.
