Last updated: 9 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of Gigz Hub ("Gigz Hub", "we", "us" or "our"), operated by Heritage Planning Specialists Ltd, company registration number 157763.

Website: www.gigzhub.je

General enquiries: info@gigzhub.je

Complaints: complaints@gigzhub.je

By creating an account, submitting content, advertising, applying for an opportunity or otherwise using Gigz Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Gigz Hub.

1. About Gigz Hub

Gigz Hub is a Jersey-based online directory and advertising platform designed to connect musicians, musicians, venues and event organisers.

The platform allows venues and event organisers to advertise forthcoming gigs and events and to advertise opportunities where they are seeking musicians, musicians or other performers.

Musicians and musicians may use Gigz Hub to discover events and performance opportunities and may apply or contact the relevant venue or event organiser.

Gigz Hub does not itself arrange or guarantee bookings.

2. Our role

Gigz Hub is a directory and advertising platform only.

Gigz Hub is not a booking agency, entertainment agent, agent of the musician, agent of the venue or party to any agreement between a musician, musician, venue or event organiser.

We do not arrange, negotiate, manage, supervise or guarantee any booking, performance, event or engagement between users.

We do not:

  • guarantee that a musician will obtain a booking;
  • guarantee that an advertised event will take place;
  • guarantee that a venue or event organiser will accept an application;
  • negotiate fees or performance terms on behalf of users;
  • enter into performance contracts on behalf of users;
  • guarantee payment for performances;
  • guarantee the quality, suitability, reliability or conduct of any user;
  • guarantee ticket sales, attendance or commercial success; or
  • accept responsibility for agreements entered into between users.

Any agreement to perform, including the agreed fee, date, time, duration, equipment, cancellation arrangements and other requirements, is solely between the relevant musician or musician and the relevant venue or event organiser.

3. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

"Website" means www.gigzhub.je and any associated online platform, application or service operated by Gigz Hub.

"User" means any person accessing or using Gigz Hub.

"Venue" means a business, venue, premises or organisation advertising an event or performance opportunity.

"Event Organiser" means a person, business or organisation responsible for organising an event.

"Musician" means a musician, musician, solo performer, DJ, entertainer or other musical act listed on Gigz Hub.

"Advert" means any gig, event, band-wanted opportunity, venue listing, promotional listing or other advertisement submitted to Gigz Hub.

"Account" means a free Gigz Hub account allowing musicians, venues and event organisers to use the advertising and listing features provided by Gigz Hub.

"User Content" means photographs, videos, logos, biographies, descriptions, text, artwork and any other material submitted by a user to Gigz Hub.

4. Eligibility and account information

Users must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

Musician Profiles registered through the Website are for adult acts. A musician with a member aged under 18 may register online only through our under-18 registration and where the requirements of our Under-18s Safeguarding Policy are met, including a signed consent form and photo ID checked by Gigz Hub, and a parent or legal guardian who holds and manages the account on the young performer's behalf; the listing stays unpublished until those checks are complete. Approved under-18 profiles show an Under 18 badge and no contact details or social links, and all booking requests go to the parent or guardian. For help listing a young performer, contact enquiries@gigzhub.je.

Users must not:

  • create an account using false information;
  • impersonate another person, musician, business or organisation;
  • create accounts for fraudulent or misleading purposes; or
  • use another person's account without permission.

Where an account is created on behalf of a business, venue or organisation, the person creating the account confirms that they are authorised to act on behalf of that business or organisation.

Users are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and up to date.

5. Free access

Gigz Hub is free for everyone. There are no memberships, subscriptions, advert fees or other charges of any kind.

Musicians, venues and event organisers can create an account and list on Gigz Hub at no cost.

Free access does not guarantee:

  • bookings;
  • applications from musicians;
  • enquiries;
  • event attendance;
  • ticket sales;
  • advertising views;
  • commercial success; or
  • any particular financial return.

An account is personal to the registered user and must not be transferred, sold or shared with another business or organisation without our written permission.

6. Advertisements

Adverts, listings, open slots and band-wanted opportunities may be submitted free of charge.

Publishing an advert does not guarantee:

  • a particular position on the Website;
  • a particular number of views;
  • applications from musicians;
  • enquiries;
  • bookings; or
  • any particular commercial result.

Gigz Hub may limit the number or frequency of adverts submitted by a single account where necessary to keep the directory useful for everyone.

7. No fees

Gigz Hub does not charge users for accounts, listings, adverts or any other feature of the Website.

We will never ask you for payment or payment card details in order to use Gigz Hub.

Gigz Hub may in future be supported by sponsorship or advertising from third parties. Any sponsored content will be clearly identified.

If we ever intend to introduce a charge for a feature, this will be clearly explained in advance and you will be free to stop using that feature.

8. Keeping your listing live

Approved listings and adverts remain live until they expire, until you remove them, or until they are removed under these Terms.

There is nothing to renew and nothing to pay.

9. Removing listings and closing your account

You may edit or delete your listings and adverts at any time through your account, or by contacting us.

You may ask us to close your account at any time. As nothing is charged, there are no fees or refunds involved.

Where Gigz Hub removes a listing or advert for breach of these Terms, no compensation is due.

Age requirements:

  • Every person creating an account or submitting an advertisement must be aged 18 or over.
  • Performers named in an advertisement must be aged 18 or over, unless the performer is listed under our Under-18s Safeguarding Policy with verified parent or guardian consent, in which case the parent or guardian holds the account and is the only contact for the young performer.
  • If a user is found to be under 18, if any age-related information is found to be false, inaccurate, misleading, concealed or incomplete, or if an advertisement names an under-18 performer without the consent and safeguards required by our Under-18s Safeguarding Policy, Gigz Hub may suspend or cancel the relevant profile, advertisement or account immediately.
  • Gigz Hub may also refuse future applications from the same user, musician or account.
  • Nothing in this section affects any statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

10. Advertisement requirements

All advertisements submitted to Gigz Hub must be:

  • accurate;
  • lawful;
  • genuine;
  • relevant to the purpose of Gigz Hub; and
  • presented in a clear and non-misleading manner.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that all information contained within an advertisement is correct, including where applicable:

  • event name;
  • venue;
  • date;
  • time;
  • location;
  • type of music required;
  • performance requirements;
  • performance duration;
  • fee or payment offered;
  • equipment requirements;
  • ticket information;
  • contact information; and
  • any other material information.

Advertisers must update information where circumstances change.

11. Advertisement approval and rejection

All advertisements submitted to Gigz Hub are subject to approval by Gigz Hub before publication.

Gigz Hub reserves the right to approve, reject, amend, suspend or remove any advertisement at its discretion, including where an advertisement:

  • does not meet the requirements of Gigz Hub;
  • is considered unsuitable for the platform;
  • is misleading, inaccurate or incomplete;
  • may be unlawful or infringe the rights of another person;
  • is considered inappropriate or offensive;
  • appears fraudulent or suspicious;
  • does not relate to the purpose of Gigz Hub; or
  • otherwise does not meet our standards or requirements.

Where Gigz Hub rejects a paid advertisement before it is published, the member will receive a full refund of the advertising fee paid for that advertisement.

Where an advertisement has already been approved and published, Gigz Hub may subsequently suspend or remove it where we consider this necessary under these Terms.

Unless required by applicable law, removal or suspension of an advertisement after it has been published will not automatically entitle the member to a refund.

Gigz Hub is not required to provide a detailed reason for rejecting an advertisement, although we may provide an explanation where appropriate.

12. Advert duration

When creating an advertisement, the member will be able to select from the advertising durations made available by Gigz Hub at the time of purchase.

The selected advertising duration and applicable price will be displayed before the purchase is completed.

The advertisement will remain live for the selected period unless:

  • the member deletes it;
  • Gigz Hub removes it in accordance with these Terms; or
  • the advertisement is otherwise suspended or terminated.

Once the selected advertising period expires, the advertisement will cease to be active unless the member chooses to renew or republish it where that option is available.

Gigz Hub may change the advertising durations and prices available for future advertisements. Such changes will not retrospectively alter advertisements that have already been purchased.

13. Editing and deleting advertisements

Members may, subject to the functionality available through their account:

  • edit an advertisement;
  • update information;
  • change permitted photographs or other content; or
  • delete an advertisement.

If a member deletes an advertisement while it is still live, they will not be entitled to a refund, credit or compensation for the unused portion of the advertising period, subject to any statutory rights that may apply.

Editing an advertisement does not automatically extend, restart or reset the advertising period.

The advertisement will continue to run until the expiry of the originally selected advertising period unless it is deleted earlier or removed by Gigz Hub.

14. Band-wanted and open gig advertisements

Venues and event organisers may use Gigz Hub to advertise opportunities where they are seeking musicians, musicians or other performers.

Where appropriate, such advertisements should include:

  • the event date;
  • performance time;
  • venue and location;
  • type of music required;
  • expected performance duration;
  • number of performers required;
  • fee or payment offered;
  • equipment requirements;
  • event type; and
  • application or contact arrangements.

Advertisers must not publish opportunities that they do not genuinely intend to offer.

Users must not deliberately create misleading advertisements in order to obtain free performances, recordings, promotional services or other benefits.

15. Applications from musicians

Musicians and musicians are responsible for deciding whether an advertised opportunity is suitable for them.

Submitting an application does not create a booking or contractual agreement.

A booking only exists once the relevant parties have separately agreed the performance arrangements.

Musicians and venues are responsible for confirming all relevant arrangements directly with one another.

We recommend that users confirm important matters in writing, including:

  • performance fee;
  • payment date;
  • performance duration;
  • arrival time;
  • soundcheck arrangements;
  • equipment requirements;
  • cancellation arrangements;
  • travel expenses;
  • accommodation, where applicable; and
  • any other relevant requirements.

16. Agreements between musicians, venues and event organisers

Any contract or agreement for a musician or musician to perform at an event is solely between the relevant parties.

Gigz Hub is not responsible for:

  • non-payment;
  • late payment;
  • cancellation;
  • failure to attend;
  • failure to perform;
  • poor performance;
  • disputes regarding fees;
  • equipment disputes;
  • property damage;
  • injury;
  • travel expenses;
  • accommodation;
  • event cancellation; or
  • any other dispute between users.

Users are responsible for protecting their own interests and should consider using written performance agreements where appropriate.

17. Event responsibilities

The venue or event organiser is solely responsible for ensuring that their event is lawfully organised and operated.

This may include responsibility for:

  • obtaining required licences, permissions or consents;
  • premises requirements;
  • health and safety;
  • public liability insurance;
  • fire safety;
  • capacity restrictions;
  • music licensing;
  • alcohol licensing;
  • employment or contractor obligations;
  • payment of performers; and
  • compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Gigz Hub does not provide legal, licensing, insurance or health and safety advice.

18. Music licensing and copyright

Venues and event organisers are responsible for obtaining any licences, permissions or consents required for music performed or played at their events.

Musicians, musicians, venues and event organisers must ensure that their use of music, photographs, videos, logos and other copyrighted material is lawful.

Gigz Hub is not responsible for copyright, music licensing or other intellectual property arrangements relating to an event or performance.

19. User content

Users may submit photographs, videos, logos, artist biographies, event descriptions, artwork and other content.

Users remain responsible for all User Content they submit.

By submitting User Content, the user confirms that:

  • they own the content or have permission to use it;
  • they have the necessary rights to allow Gigz Hub to display it;
  • the content does not infringe another person's intellectual property rights;
  • the content is not unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent or misleading; and
  • they are legally entitled to provide the content to Gigz Hub.

By submitting User Content, the user grants Gigz Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, resize, format and promote that content for the purposes of operating, marketing and promoting Gigz Hub and the relevant listing.

Gigz Hub may make minor amendments to profiles, listings and adverts, such as correcting spelling or typing mistakes, aligning or repositioning images, and tidying formatting, so that content is presented clearly and consistently. These amendments will not change the meaning of your content.

20. Prohibited content and conduct

Users must not use Gigz Hub to:

  • publish fraudulent or misleading advertisements;
  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • advertise events that do not exist;
  • deliberately misrepresent fees or performance opportunities;
  • harass, threaten or abuse another user;
  • publish defamatory material;
  • publish unlawful material;
  • infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights;
  • distribute malware or malicious software;
  • unlawfully collect personal information;
  • send spam;

  • use Gigz Hub for any unlawful purpose.

21. Moderation and removal

Gigz Hub reserves the right to review, edit, reject, suspend or remove any account, profile, advertisement or User Content where we reasonably believe that it:

  • breaches these Terms;
  • is unlawful;
  • is misleading or fraudulent;
  • is inappropriate;
  • infringes another person's rights;
  • may expose Gigz Hub or another user to legal liability;
  • may cause harm to Gigz Hub or another user; or
  • is otherwise unsuitable for publication.

Where reasonably practicable, Gigz Hub may contact the relevant user before removing content.

  • engages in fraudulent conduct;
  • repeatedly receives legitimate complaints;
  • abuses another user;
  • misuses Gigz Hub; or
  • engages in conduct that may expose Gigz Hub to legal or reputational risk.

Termination does not remove any rights or obligations that arose before termination.

23. No guarantee of results

Gigz Hub is provided as a platform for advertising and discovery.

24. Accuracy of user information

Gigz Hub does not routinely verify every statement made by users.

Users should carry out their own checks before entering into an agreement with another user.

Users acknowledge that information published by other users may be:

  • incomplete;
  • inaccurate;
  • out of date; or
  • misleading.

Gigz Hub may, but is not obliged to, verify information or investigate complaints.

25. Third-party websites and services

  • poor performance;
  • loss of profits;
  • loss of business;
  • loss of reputation; or
  • loss of opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Venue & event organiser terms

These additional terms apply to venues, event organisers and other businesses that list a venue or advertise an opportunity on the platform — all free of charge.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These venue and event organiser terms ("Venue Terms") supplement the main Gigz Hub Terms and Conditions and apply to any venue, event organiser or other person or business that advertises an event, open slot or band-wanted opportunity on the Website. Listing and advertising on Gigz Hub is free.

By submitting an advertisement you agree to both the main Gigz Hub Terms and these Venue Terms. If you do not agree, do not submit an advertisement.

Musician terms

These additional terms apply to musicians and musicians creating a free Gigz Hub musician profile.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These musician terms ("Musician Terms") supplement the main Gigz Hub Terms and Conditions and apply to any musician, musician, solo performer, DJ or other musical act that creates a free musician profile ("Musician Profile").

By submitting a Musician Profile you agree to both the main Gigz Hub Terms and these Musician Terms. If you do not agree, do not submit a Musician Profile.

1. What a Musician Profile includes

A Musician Profile is a free public listing on the Gigz Hub directory.

The profile may include your act name, biography, music styles, parish or area, typical fee, member count, contact details, logo, photographs, a video, up to five MP3 recordings and a merch-shop link.

All media uploads are optional. Any item you do not upload simply will not appear on your public profile.

Your approved Musician Profile will be visible to the general public, not only to venues and event organisers. Anyone browsing the Gigz Hub directory can view your profile, listen to your featured track, and use the contact details you choose to display.

By submitting a Musician Profile you agree that Gigz Hub advertises the contact details you provide — including your website, merch-shop link and social media links (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube) — publicly as part of your profile, to anyone who visits the site, whether or not they have a Gigz Hub account. Only add links you are happy for the general public to see and use.

You can select one MP3 recording as the featured track to be included in the Gigz Hub Local Talent player on the homepage.

2. Age and authority to register

By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the musician.

Every member of your act must be aged 18 or over to register online, unless the act is registered under our Under-18s Safeguarding Policy with verified parent or guardian consent — in that case the parent or guardian holds and manages the account, and the listing stays unpublished until consent is verified. For help, contact enquiries@gigzhub.je.

If a musician is later found to include under-18 members without that consent and those safeguards, or if any age-related information provided is found to be false, inaccurate or misleading, Gigz Hub may suspend or cancel the Musician Profile immediately.

3. Musician Profiles are free

There is no charge for a Musician Profile. Gigz Hub is free for everyone.

You will never be asked for payment or payment card details to create, publish or keep a Musician Profile.

4. Profile approval

All Musician Profiles are reviewed by Gigz Hub before they go live on the directory.

Gigz Hub may approve, reject, suspend or remove a profile if it:

  • contains inaccurate or misleading information;
  • includes content that is unlawful, offensive, infringing or otherwise unsuitable;
  • does not meet the quality or purpose of the directory; or
  • otherwise breaches these Terms.

Once a profile is approved and published, it remains live unless it is removed under these Terms or you delete it.

5. Booking enquiries

The contact email supplied on your Musician Profile is used to forward booking enquiries from venues and event organisers.

Gigz Hub is a directory only and is not a booking agent. We only forward the enquiry; we do not negotiate fees, dates, equipment or any other performance terms on your behalf.

A booking enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Any performance agreement is solely between you and the venue or event organiser.

You are responsible for replying to enquiries, confirming details and protecting your own interests.

6. No guarantee of bookings or results

Gigz Hub does not guarantee that your profile will receive views, enquiries, bookings, paid performances or any particular commercial result.

The value of a Musician Profile is the opportunity to be discovered by Jersey venues and event organisers; actual results depend on many factors outside our control.

7. Your content

You are responsible for all text, images, videos, audio and links you submit to your Musician Profile.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and display that content.

You must not upload content that infringes copyright, music licensing, trademark or other rights, or that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading or harmful.

By uploading MP3 recordings you confirm you have the right to share those recordings publicly.

You grant Gigz Hub a non-exclusive licence to host, display, resize, format and promote your content for the purpose of running the directory.

8. Keeping your profile live

Your Musician Profile goes live once it has been approved and stays live until you remove it or it is removed under these Terms.

There is nothing to renew, nothing to cancel and nothing to pay.

9. Editing and deleting your Musician Profile

You may edit your Musician Profile at any time through your account, including updating your biography, music styles, photographs, video, MP3 recordings, contact details and merch-shop link.

You may also delete your Musician Profile at any time through your account or by contacting us.

Deleting your Musician Profile will remove it from the public Gigz Hub directory and it will no longer be visible to visitors.

Deleting your profile does not close your Gigz Hub account. If you also want your account closed, please contact us.

10. No fees or refunds

Musician Profiles are free, so no fees are charged and no refunds arise.

Age requirements:

  • Every member of your musician must be aged 18 or over to register online, and you confirm this when registering. Under-18 performers can be listed only under our Under-18s Safeguarding Policy with verified parent or guardian consent, with the listing unpublished until consent is verified — contact enquiries@gigzhub.je.
  • If a musician is found to include under-18 members without the required consent and safeguards, or if any age-related information is found to be false, inaccurate, misleading, concealed or incomplete, Gigz Hub may suspend or cancel the Musician Profile immediately.
  • Gigz Hub may also refuse future applications from the same musician or account.
  • This does not affect any statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

11. Relationship to main Gigz Hub Terms

These Musician Terms are in addition to the main Gigz Hub Terms and Conditions.

In the event of any conflict between these Musician Terms and the main Terms, the main Terms apply unless the relevant Musician Term expressly states otherwise.

These terms sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information and forms part of the agreement between you and Gigz Hub.
